product warnings

A list of idiotic, real-life product warnings I found on the net. pretty funny. I have actually seen some of these labels before (e.g. american airlines' peanuts, dial soap, x-mas lights, etc.)

On a Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping
(no comment)

On a bag of Fritos: You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside.
(not the only product i've seen this warning on)

On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap."
(very helpful)

On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost."
(only a suggestion)

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down."
(have personally seen this one and yes, it was too late)

On Marks &Spencer Bread Pudding: "Product will be hot after heating."
(in other words: product will be hot after you make it hot)

On packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes on body."
(if only someone had told me this years ago)

On Boot's Children Cough Medicine: "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication."
(hmm... tricky... very tricky)

On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness."

On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or outdoor use only."
(i have puzzled over this warning so many seasons past; please, if you think you know what the forbidden use could be, contact me with that info immedietly).

On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the other use."
(this one cracks me up)

On Sainsbury's peanuts: "Warning: contains nuts."
(you think?)

On an American Airlines packet of nuts: "Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts."
(my advice: fly Delta)

On a child's superman costume: "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly."
(how sad)

On a Swedish chainsaw: "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals."
(oh my god... this has happened before?)
